Sign in and sign out
Signing in works the same way in the Business panel and in the Personal app. It always has two parts: your password, then a code from your authenticator app.
- Open the login screen. In the Business panel its title is Log in to Web3Card Business. In a Personal app the title is Log in to your, the name of the company and account.
- Type your Email and Password.
- Stay signed in for 7 days comes checked. Leave it if this is your own device. Uncheck it on a shared computer.
- Select Sign In.
- On the screen Enter your authenticator code, open your authenticator app and type the code in 6-digit code from the app.
- Select Sign In.
You have 5 minutes to type the authenticator code after the password is accepted. After that, start again from the password.
In the Business panel, if you opened an address inside the panel before signing in, you land on that address after the code. The Personal app always opens on its Home screen.
Sign out
- Business panel. At the bottom of the side menu, select your name. The menu shows your email and Sign out.
- Personal app. At the bottom of the menu, select your email, then Sign out. The Account screen also has a Sign out button.
After you sign out, the login screen opens.
How long you stay signed in
| Option on the login screen | The session lasts |
|---|---|
| Stay signed in for 7 days checked | 7 days |
| Unchecked | 1 day |
The first session, right after you create the account, lasts 1 day.
A session also ends right away when:
- you sign out
- the password of the account is changed
- the authenticator of the account is replaced
A session can also end when the platform is updated. If that happens, sign in again.
When a session ends, the next screen you open takes you back to the login.
About the authenticator code
- Each code works only once. If you have just used a code, wait for the app to show the next one.
- The code changes every 30 seconds. The platform also accepts the code right before and right after the current one, to tolerate small clock differences.
- After 5 wrong codes the sign-in is cancelled. The next attempt shows This step has expired. Please start again. and you start again from the password.
Check the clock of your phone. Authenticator codes depend on the exact time. Set the date and time of the phone to automatic and try again.
If you did not finish creating the account
- You did not confirm the email. Signing in takes you straight to the screen Confirm your email.
- You confirmed the email and stopped after that. In the same browser, signing in takes you back to the step where you stopped. In another browser the screen shows Your sign-up was not finished and can no longer be continued here. Create the account again.
If something goes wrong
| Message | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Invalid email or password. | The email or the password does not match. The answer is the same whether the account exists or not | Check both. Passwords are case-sensitive. Or reset the password |

| This step has expired. Please start again. | More than 5 minutes passed since the password, or 5 wrong codes were typed | Sign in again |
| Too many attempts. Wait a few minutes and try again. | Too many tries in a short time from your network | Wait a few minutes |
| We could not load the page | The app could not reach the server | Check your connection and select Try again |
